Congratulations Tash!

Yup. Today she's off to uni.
My little birdy is leaving the nest.
She'll probably be caught up in all the uni fun that I'll eventually end up fading away from her memory.
Personally, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
I never planned on going to uni and so far I haven't gotten close to going or wanting to go.
But saying that, I do feel like a proud momma knowing that my bestie was able to get into one and is heading off today.
Spreading her educational wings and learning new things.
Congratulations Tash!

What colour should I dye my hair?

I have a couple of hair dyes at home and cant decide which one to choose

I've been obsessed with looking up people with white, grey and silver hair lately and while I was in London I saw these hair dyes and loved them.
But now I can't decide what colour to use first.

  • The farmatint is a black hair dye that a friend gave me and I'm kind of scared to use it.
  • Perfect colour permanent 100% grey coverage looks like a grey hair dye and I'm also scared of what I might look like with that.
  • Bblonde is a very platinum hair dye,I've dyed my hair blonde before but never that light.
  • White toner is just that, a white toner.
  • Silver shampoo is I'm guessing for the white toner to change your hair from white to silver

I'll leave a photo of my hair here for anyone that wants to Photoshop it into any of these colours

Lush haul

As you might know I went on holiday to London recently, and while I was there I thought I'd go into Lush.
I went to the Lush shop in Oxford street.

This is what I got from Lush:
 Golden Slumbers £3.95
A sleeping potion in your bath, the calming oils in here will calm restless minds and send you on your way to heavenly sleep. With lavender oil, lavender absolute, chamomile oil and neroli to gently lift your mood just higher than the clouds and off into dreamland.
 Twilight £3.35
If sleep is evading you, this combination of essential oils will help get you ready for a good night's rest. As Twilight dissolves, it turns from the colour of the setting sun and gets darker, turning your water a shimmering deep purple. The fragrance has been designed to help you sleep: lavender is a soothing, mind-clearing and calming fragrance, used in aromatherapy to treat insomnia and aid restful sleep, while benzoin and tonka call to mind a milky caramel malt drink.
 Karma £4.25
Get an instant lift with this bubble bar with our signature exotic orange and patchouli fragrance. Sweet orange oil is refreshing, tangy and uplifting, as is lemongrass oil. Lavandin is a close relative of lavender and has similarly relaxing properties. Pine oil adds a fresh, green note to the perfume and elemi oil, which is traditionally used in incense recipes, adds complexity and freshness.

 The experimenter £3.95
If you're looking for adventure... you'll find it in The Experimenter, starring vibrant colour, popping candy and Fair Trade vanilla absolute from near the Rwenzori mountains in Uganda.
An enigmatic and comforting romance of... deep, complex vetivert notes that enthrall your senses before creamy vanilla and tonka provide a sweet antidote.
It's everything you've always wanted to do ... and with a plethora of five bright colours, it's the only one you'll ever want to do it with again.
 Honey bee £3.35
A good soak in a Honey Bee bath will soothe and cleanse the skin thanks to its wonder trio of honey, aloe vera, and rhassoul mud, a clay mined near Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Honey is a wonder ingredient that soothes, retains moisture and is antiseptic, and we add plenty of cooling aloe vera, too. Rhassoul mud has natural cleansing properties, and also helps condition and soften the skin.

 Tisty tosty £3.35
He loves me, he loves me not - Tisty Tosty is based on a medieval love potion. Studded with seven real rosebuds, it is scented with a captivating combination of floral orris root powder, rose, and lemon. As this dissolves in the bath, you may fall in love with it as the scent of geranium, jasmine and rose create a spellbinding fragrance. Rose oil also gets to work soothing broken hearts - it’s used by aromatherapists to lift the spirits.

I've used the product descriptions from the Lush website to give you an idea of what they smell like and what the prices are like.
